Witam orthofanow,
oto pare relacji z nowego CANJAM DENVER na temat ortho produktów:
"The LCD2 was awesome, especially for $650. I told Sankar and Alex that I\'m in for a pair whenever they release their final production model. Outstanding punchy, deep and detailed bass without any real compromises in the midrange and treble, which are super detailed and silly fast (although the overall signature tends a little toward the dark side). I\'ll need to spend more time with them at some point, but once they\'re in hand I may sell off my K701s. On a side note, I actually think they were being driven by a ZDT, not a Woo (at least when I was there)."
"The Audeze LCD-2 are a noticeable upgrade from the LCD-1, and sound similar to what I recall the head-direct prototype RE5 ortho back in May. Fang at Head-direct says they have further upgraded the RE5 prototype since May CanJam in LA, so I look forward to trying the revised RE5 tomorrow."
"If anyone who hasn\'t already had a chance today, tomorrow listen to Head-Direct\'s HE-5\'s. I mean, really listen to them. They are one of the best sounding headphones that I\'ve heard in a long time. Yes, better than the HD800\'s and the PS1000\'s to me.
If you can, pry them away from the EF-1 and try them on some of the powerful amps. They have incredible air, separation, head stage, and the bass is strong and sounds exactly like bass should sound.
I feel they sound much better with a powerful amp, like a Luxman or a Zana, or anything that is a heavy driver. Right now, I\'m listening to them out of my 24" iMac through a Micro Dac feeding into a Portaphile V2^2 and they are only half the man they can be when using my Luxman or Raptor.
Don\'t underestimate these cans, they are a dark horse that will eventually knock most people off of their fences. The HiFiMAN 801, even though it is a monster component with incredibly great output and resources, is underpowered for the HE-5 Ortho/Magnetic planars. Like the 800\'s the HE-5\'s need some cojones.."
