Zupełnie inne wrażenia oferuje Mesjasz wydany przez Naxos. Choć wytwórnia znana z taniochy, to jednak w tym wypadku jest czego posłuchać. Partie chóralne w wykonaniu chóru chłopięcego, ale również arie na głosy chłopięce. Tak ponoć wykonywany był w 1751 roku Mesjasz w Londynie pod dyrekcją samego Handla.
mówisz pewnie o wykonaniu pod Edwarde Higginbottomem :) całkiem ciekawa produkcja a to wykonanie co Gustav słuchał też wykorzystuje chór chłopięcy.
Higginbottom bazuje rzeczywiście na wykonaniu z 1751 roku w takim oto składzie osobowym
